Our History

McMillan Transport Ltd. was established in 1950 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, where it's Head Office is still located. Its principals include Mr. Rod McMillan and Mr. Jamie McMillan.  Through their efforts, and those of their employees, McMillan Transports growth has been steady.

McMillan Transport Ltd. presently has terminals in Medicine Hat, and Calgary and a yard in Edmonton, with general merchandise operating authority for Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

Mission: McMillan Transport Ltd. strives to meet today's truckload needs, anticipate tomorrow's requirements, and plan for the client's transportation future.
